The attorneys and staff of Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck welcome Stephan A. Cornell, Esq., to our firm.
Steve joins us from a large national law firm, where, as a partner, he handled complex commercial and tort cases for clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to individuals on a variety of claims. He has earned a distinguished reputation for tenacious advocacy and we are proud to welcome him to our firm.
“Growing up in northeast Pennsylvania, where most civil lawyers are plaintiff lawyers, I am hard-wired to be a trial attorney,” Steve said. “When the opportunity arose for me to represent the kinds of hard-working people I’ve been around my entire life, who were injured through no fault of their own, I jumped at the chance. I am thrilled to be joining Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck—a firm whose reputation for diligent legal representation, unlocking value in cases, and securing large verdicts and settlements against well-known and well-defended organizations precedes it.”
Steve graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in history, where he competed for the varsity cross-country and track-and-field teams. He then earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 2010. While in law school, he was a member of the moot court board and worked for The Wake Forest Law Review. Steve received an LLM in Trial Advocacy, with honors, from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2019.
Steve has been named to the “Pennsylvania Rising Stars” list for Business Litigation by Super Lawyers in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Steve serves as a mentor with the Posse Foundation, a national nonprofit organization that partners with colleges and universities to provide scholarships and leadership training, and volunteers as a judge for local mock-trial competitions.
“Steve’s track record and reputation as a tenacious and detail-oriented litigator is a perfect fit for our law firm as we pursue justice for our catastrophically injured clients,” said Eisenberg Rothweiler shareholders Todd Schoenhaus and Josh Schwartz. “Steve came to us with a strong desire to work on behalf of the injured whose lives have been forever altered due to the tortious conduct of others. He brings with him not only 15 years of significant litigation experience, but also a unique perspective from the other side of ‘the v’ that will serve our clients well, as it has in the past with other additions to the firm. We are thrilled to have Steve join us and look forward to a long and bright future together.”
