Dear Clients and Friends:
On Monday, March 16th, the City of Philadelphia announced new restrictions on commercial activity within the city in an attempt to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus. The City has asked that only essential commercial establishments remain open and that all other businesses close until further notice.
The safety of our clients, friends, attorneys, and staff, and their families, are a top priority for our firm. We also believe that during these difficult times, we all must do our part to end the spread of COVID-19.
For that reason, our Philadelphia and New Jersey offices are closed.
Though our offices are closed, our legal practice is very much open.
Our attorneys and staff are working remotely from home on our clients’ cases. They are available to answer any questions our clients or friends may have, just like they would if they were working in our offices.
If you were scheduled to meet in-person with one of our attorneys or staff members over the next few weeks, they will be in contact with you soon, if they haven’t already done so, to reschedule that meeting as a phone call or video chat.
Pennsylvania state and federal courts have for the most part shut down. Related proceedings such as depositions have been postponed. We have been notifying clients, witnesses, and other affected parties about these closures and postponements and will continue to do so. We will do our best to make sure that any delays caused by these closures and postponements are minimal.
We value the relationship we have with you. The attorneys and staff of Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C., are here for you during these uncertain times.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
Your attorneys and friends at Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck
