“I think what separates us, is the determination and the drive to get to the truth—to get answers.”
Education and Experience with Medical Malpractice Cases
Born in Philadelphia, Daniel earned his B.A. degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1989. He received his J.D. from the Temple University School of Law in 1992.
Daniel has devoted the bulk of his practice to complex medical malpractice cases. These include claims involving birth injuries, missed or delayed cancer diagnosis and other illnesses, and surgical and pharmaceutical errors. Daniel has also pursued claims against local emergency rooms for their delay in diagnosing and treating various conditions. More recently, he has successfully litigated cases arising from construction site accidents and defective products such as ATVs, trampolines, garbage trucks, and cars with defective seatbelts and airbags. According to Daniel, the most critical aspect of these cases is getting answers for victims and their families.
Typically, doctors do not inform patients when complications or injuries are potential results of medical negligence. Victims often do not know what happened to them and why. Daniel investigates cases of medical injury and finds the truth for victims. Even when the investigation reveals no grounds for a medical negligence claim, injured parties and their families receive peace of mind and closure from learning the truth about what happened.
Academic Work and Community Involvement
Daniel has lectured at the Temple University School of Law and the Villanova School of Law. He has frequently presented and coordinated programs in trial advocacy for his peers, including courses involving premises liability, breast cancer litigation, trial strategy, deposition strategy, and the MCARE Act.
He also has handled pro bono matters on behalf of the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program and the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Additionally, he volunteers as a basketball coach and commissioner for the Whitemarsh Youth Basketball League. He also remains an active Beta Alumni Association of Pennsylvania State University member.
