Eisenberg, Rothweiler, Winkler, Eisenberg & Jeck, P.C., attorneys were in the spotlight earlier this month at the Pennsylvania Association for Justice’s Annual Retreat in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
On July 18, Ken Rothweiler received the prestigious Milton D. Rosenberg Award from the PAJ. The award recognizes the “trial lawyer whose devotion to injured victims, qualities of leadership, and service to the organization best represent the life of the late and revered past PAJ president after whom the award is named.”
That same day, Ken, Fred Eisenberg, and Todd Schoenhaus presented a CLE titled “Techniques to Help Win the Tough Worksite Case: $24.8M Verdict, Overcoming Substantial Comparative Negligence.”
The CLE was based on the attorneys’ recent experience litigating a case where the firm’s client, a roofer, suffered a brain injury and numerous fractures after falling through a skylight while working.
This past March, a Philadelphia jury returned a $24.8 million verdict for that client.
You can read The Legal Intelligencer’s coverage of that verdict.
